I had a key 🔑 made for my 20-year-old VW Lupo including coding. It took a while, but the gentleman was very willing/effortful. The price is right.

I wanted to have a flat key made. After a long wait because 3 customers who came in after me were prioritized, my key was finally taken care of. After 2 blanks and 5 adjustments, the new key did not fit in the lock and I canceled the order. A shame about the time I wasted there. However, I did get my money back.

What a store.... I don't know who served me there, but unfortunately I had to realize that the person had no idea what he was doing... I actually just wanted to have a Santoku knife engraved with a name, 4 letters in 12mm font height...! I told the gentleman behind the counter the name, the font size, and the approximate position. So far, everything was fine. After several test runs without engraving (to find the right position), my request was first put on hold because another customer who had just entered the store wanted to have 7 keys made. That's when I started to have my first doubts, for 7 keys the poor woman was supposed to pay €90.10...... After more customers entered the store and I (as the first and only one in the store) was repeatedly put off, I mentioned that I would go shopping for a moment. Upon my return, the knife was engraved. However, in 3mm font height (which is almost not visible on a 180mm long and 60mm wide Santoku knife), I was supposed to pay €10, with the justification that the tools wear out quickly. When I asked which tool he had used, I got the answer (hold on to your hats); a diamond tool..... Anyone who has even a tiny spark of understanding and was not absent during physics class should know that you cannot work steel with diamond, not to mention the size of the font. I will never set foot over the threshold here again and would rather have it engraved at FaWi on Seegeberger Chaussee. It may take "a bit" longer, but you get 100% of what you ordered.
